The spacious living room is great for relaxing or socialising with friends and family. There is a dining table that seats four guest use while enjoying homemade meals or any yummy dishes you may find around the city.You can feel free to take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen, to make scrumptious meals if you prefer to as well. As you can see from the living room, the bedroom is just behind the bright white curtains that separate the two spaces. You will find a very comfortable double size bed, fresh sheets and plush pillows for a good nights sleep.Finally, the bathroom comes with a toilet, sink and a full-size bath to relax and indulge in an at home spa day.Guest Access:You will have full private access to the property for the duration of your stay.The Neighborhood:Swiss Cottage: Swiss Cottage is a district of the London Borough of Camden in London. It is centred on the junction of Avenue Road and Finchley Road. There are assorted shops along the length of the Finchley Road. Notable restaurants that include European, South-East Asian and Japanese cuisine. Adjoining neighbourhoods include Hampstead Village to the North East, Chalk Farm and Camden Town to the South East, Belsize Park to the East, St John's Wood to the South and West Hampstead to the West. Regent's Park is within walking distance of Swiss Cottage.Hampstead: Hampstead has long been known for its ridiculously gorgeous hilltop views and array of greenery to make other bits of London, well, green with envy. The jewel in the crown is, of course, Hampstead Heath’s 790 acres of woodland, playing fields, swimming ponds and meadows, with Parliament Hill providing some truly spectacular views across the city. The relative wealth in the area has allowed the small independent retailers to weather the recession and stick around and you can still find bookshops, grocers, butchers and cheese shops that have passed down through generations and are still going strong. This is a nice relief to other parts of London that have been taken over by the big names – there is a great community vibe in Hampstead and it doesn’t look to be dissipating anytime soon.Getting Around:Swiss Cottage: Swiss Cottage is in zone 2 on the Jubilee line, between Finchley Road and St John’s Wood. A journey to London Bridge takes 10-15 minutes and to Canary Wharf it’s 22 minutes. The nearest overground station is South Hampstead on the line between Euston, Queen’s Park and Watford Junction. The number 13 bus is an alternative route to central London or up to Golders Green in the opposite direction, while the 46 travels to St Bart’s Hospital via Kentish Town and King’s Cross and the 82 heads to Victoria.Hampstead: Hampstead is located in the borough of Camden in the north of London city centre. It has a major bus terminal (Hampstead Heath) in South End Green and multiple underground tube stations including Hampstead, Belsize Park, Swiss Cottage and Finchley Road. You can also get on the Overground. So many options!Other Things to Note:Fresh bed linen, towels, fluffy pillows, toiletries and other necessities are provided for a comfortable stay. Our 24/7 support team will also be available if you ever needed anything more.Note: Before March 2022, we were Airbnb superhost. We experienced a couple of issues with Guy (internet – minor issue) & Nisha (cleaning – more severe issue). Internet is working very well in the flat (100Mbs, fibre broadband). An ad-hoc problem that impacted the entire area (unrelated to our flat) was resolved. Cleaning: we use a professional company, and the flat is cleaned to high standards and is in perfect condition for your stay. Unfortunately, the cleaning company broke the keys, could not enter the flat and did not inform us. It was a regrettable turn of events. What we have done: 1. Apologise and refund the guest as we were deeply sorry 2. Change the cleaning company (to ensure the issue does not happen again). With more than 100+ bookings, virtually all our guests have enjoyed our flat as much as we do, and we hope you will.We look forward to welcoming you.
